What to Expect

Disclaimer: Marks can be discussed and chosen based on physical ability, however walking several kilometres throughout the day will generally be required .
Standard Itinerary:
Introduction to the gear and safety run-through.
Make our way to first mark and fish for approximately three hours.
Return to cars / food break.
Make our way to the second mark and fish for approximately three further hours before returning.

Mid-tier 9-9ft6” rod with casting rating up to 30-40g (i.e. Shimano Lunamis).
Mid-tier 3000-4000 size Shimano fixed spool reel (i.e. Twinpower).
All lures required for the trip.
Lifejacket / buoyancy aid.
Midge net.
Bottles of water.

Small backpack.
Sturdy footwear with good grip.
Food for the day.
Suitable clothing for the weather (Always trousers rather than shorts - the ticks can be numerous in certain locations) inc. waterproofs.
Light pair of gloves in the summer, as the midge may make an appearance if the wind drops.
