Conservation Code of Conduct
These fishing experiences are built on respect for the species and the sensitive marks we fish. To keep these places special and to ensure future anglers enjoy the same experience, we kindly ask guests to follow a few simple principles:
Travelling Anglers Only (Exclusively for Bass Fishing Experience)
We welcome anglers visiting Scotland from overseas or from at least five hours’ drive away within the UK (e.g., Wales or southern England). This helps reduce local fishing pressure and keeps the marks in good condition.Respect the Marks
The areas we visit together are naturally sensitive to angling pressure. We trust guests to respect these locations and enjoy them as part of their guided experience, rather than returning to them afterwards. This helps protect both the fishing and the experience for others.Catch and Release
All fish, whether bass or pollack, are safely returned to protect stocks and ensure the future of the fishery. You’ll be guided through best practices for safe handling and release. If, however, a fish is unlikely to survive, you’re more than welcome to take it for food.Respect the Environment
Leave no trace, take litter away, and enjoy the coastline without disturbing its wildlife.Sharing Knowledge
While we ask that guided marks remain part of the shared experience, I’m always happy to point returning guests towards other areas more suitable for independent exploration. That way, you can still enjoy Scotland’s bass fishing responsibly while helping to protect these fragile locations.
